Media Lab

We have limited access for groups and organizations to use the lab upon request. There is no public access to the media lab at Central Library. The Media Lab at Central Madison Public Library is being reenvisioned to better align with our current goals, priorities, and staffing capacity. There is no set timeline for this reenvisioning process, but we will share information here when it is available.


WHAT IS THE MEDIA LAB?

The Media Lab at Central Madison Public Library ( 1st Floor / 201 W. Mifflin St.) is a space for groups and organizations to explore digital media production in the realms of stop motion animation, 3D world design, green screen video, audio design and graphic design.

OPEN LAB Hours:

We no longer offer general public open lab hours.

OPPORTUNITIES for groups/organizations TO DIVE DEEPER:

Community collaboration is at the core of the Bubbler, we would love to hear about a media project that your group/organization is working on. If your group/organization has interest in requesting a workshop in the lab, or having one of our experts come out to work with you at your location (school, senior center, neighborhood center, etc.) please email tmiller@madisonpubliclibrary.org with your request.
